I recall how years ago, I used to write and publish between 6 and 8 blog posts per day on MobilityArena. It was a lot of work. I never did any copy-and-paste. I’d research a topic and then write, citing sources. I’d also write completely original articles from my personal experiences with devices and services. These included phone reviews, of course.
Six to eight good quality articles per day is gruelling work, no doubt. But it is the kind of grind that produced success and MobilityArena continues to benefit from it till date. You won’t stand out by doing the barest minimum. You won’t excel that way. All the smart working in the world will not take the place of hard work. Some of the smartest people I know are also the hardest workers.
I have since eased myself off that intense workload and now do more work in the background. But I do not forget how I got here. The thing about real success is that it can be replicated. If I ever need to do it again, I will. It is a process that can be replicated. I must also mention that I now have writers who do more of the heavy lifting, so we have not exactly eased off on the culture of churning out content daily.
How Many Articles Do You Need To Publish For Your Blog Website To Stand A Chance?
When I tell my clients the minimum number of articles they need to write daily or monthly in order for their niche website, blog, or other content website to really take off and start getting good traffic and generating good revenue, it hits them like a slap on the face or a bomb going off. They are shocked.
Personally, I dislike the question. It is almost always inspired by a desire to see what barest minimum they can do to get by. I prefer a better approach: handle that website like your life, your daily sustenance depends on it. Because, it actually does. You want to earn a living from publishing content on a website. Imagine if your doctor was looking for the barest minimum to do. Or the pilot flying you out on that trip. Or the police detective handling your case. Or the chef at the restaurant or hotel. You would think they were mad.
Well, if you are looking for the barest minimum you can do to attain a revenue-generating content website or blog, perhaps you are just as insane and need to reconsider. You ought to give it everything you can and go out of your way to do as much as you can. Push yourself as hard as you can. If you can publish 20 articles in one day, go for it. No; I am not kidding. One thing is sure: the barest minimum will get you…well…the barest minimum.
